Gray Trout
The Gray Trout is the northern relative of the Speckled Trout. They
can be found throughout the open bay from June to November, however
they prefer river channels, inlets and surf along beaches. Gray Trout
can be landed by fishing the bottom using peeler crab or squid from
a drifting boat or from piers. Larger Gray's are frequently caught
by trolling under lights at night along the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel.
