Croaker
Croaker are abundant throughout the Chesapeake Bay, and its tidal rivers
and creeks. They can be easy to catch by bottom fishing from piers,
bridges, shores and anchored or drifting boats. They usually arrive
in the Chesapeake in the early May and remain until late October. Bottom
rigs with multiple hooks sometime will land 2 or more at a time.
